Growing

Something has started to grow in me,

I now know to be,

The love of God abounds,

Just a seed so small to start,

The sower he did start,

He watered it and nurtured it,

With loving tender care,

A small sweet sound within my heart,

To let me know he’s there,

The seed is getting stronger,

Each and every day,

The roots go deep inside

The shoots are everywhere,

He said he would reign in me,

To keep the seed so strong,

The words from God each new day

Like the morning song.
