All The same

Living with the living God,
Every day and working lives,
Loving others equal rights,
Not ignoring others plights,
Looking through the spirit of God,
Into the mirror image of life,
Seeing people in a different light,
Showing God with all his might,
Not looking at their downward falls,
But building up to stand them tall,
Lifting people along the way,
Teaching then to love and pray,
Different people, with outcast ways,
Living in these latter days,
Father warned us, that there would be,
Wars and fighting, and high wave seas,
So he taught us every day,
Not to judge, not to stray,
Not to turn our hearts away,
Not to leave for another day,
But praying always, your will be done,
Peace on earth, love has come,
Equal rights for everyone.

Psalm of Bridlington

Woe to the children of Bridlington,
Who take counsel But not of me,
Who devise plans to come on holiday,
Without even visiting our lovely Church.

My Spirit is sad,
You who come when the sun is out,
Who take pleasure on beaches and seas,
Taking rides on the crest of the waves.

You even carry your children
On backs of donkeys,
Just like your fathers before you.

You take pleasure and muse,
You eat and drink,
Forgetting me who created
All these wonderful pleasures.

Therefore,
Your name O Bridlington,
Will be written in the Rock Forever.

Until the Rock cries out,
And the sweetness of their sins,
Come before me,
I will heal their land,
And forgive their sins.

Then the pleasure shall be all mine,
Says the Lord.

Mothers love

Her heart cries out,
She’s always there,
Watching her children,
In total despair,
Only in child birth,
Does a mother's love know,
The pain and the suffering as they grow,
She teaches them wise,
She prays and she cries,
Her hopes and her fears,
Through all of their years,
She’s defending, she’s strong,
Guards all life long,
She gives them her best,
Not taking a rest,
Right standing and tall,
Her truth never lies,
Her spirit never dies,
Her memories linger on,
Her children grow up strong.
